Some new arrivals have been uploaded to the website in the last few days, including some really beautiful early 20th century engagement rings.
The first is this wonderful vintage ring, set with a cushion cut diamond. The centre stone is one carat, and is a beautifully proportioned cushion, full of sparkle. The setting is typical of the Edwardian era, with delicate engraving along the gallery and down the band.
The next is a very unusual ring, with sapphire shoulders. The main diamond is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, D colour. The mounting is elegant and understated, allowing the diamond to take centre stage.
In a similar vein is this ring, with an Asscher cut centre stone, and trilliant cut sapphires. The Aschers were the people who cut the Star of Africa, and this cut was one of their creations. The look of an Asscher is totally different to an emerald cut stone, with a lovely crisp reflection pattern, almost like water.
The last to mention is this lovely vintage three stone ring, with the three main diamonds in an oblong frame, and small diamonds to the side. The diamonds are pavé set, and are Old European cuts.
