D colour Flawless Diamond, Type IIa

Exceptional pear shape diamond, set with baguette shoulders. A perfect grade, this is D colour and Internally flawless, and weighs 3.2 carats. With letter from the GIA confirming it is a type 2a diamond. There are four type of diamond, and type 2a is the most chemically pure, and have the greatest optical clarity. Less than 1% of diamonds fit into this category, including diamonds from the famous Golconda mine, source of most of the world’s most important diamonds, including the Hope diamond, the Koh-i-Noor and the Regent diamond
