Wonderful antique brooch/pendant, circa 1870. Set with an array of cabochon opals, with interstitial diamonds, in a gold frame. Unusually, the back section has rock crystal (instead of glass). with magical faceted edges, a real sign of an exceptional jewel. 5.2x4cm
