Victorian Suite of Bees

Exceptional, wonderful and magical Victorian suite of jewellery in the form of a swarm of bees! Comprising a bracelet, brooch, hair ornament and two smaller brooches/lapel pins. French circa 1850. Incredibly realistically modelled, set with black enamel and rose cut diamonds. A very important collection of pieces.
The Bee was the symbol of Napoleon, chosen because it represents immortality and regeneration.
