Boucheron

Founded in Paris in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron, Boucheron is one of France’s most distinguished fine jewellery houses. Renowned for its innovative designs, exceptional craftsmanship and use of exquisite gemstones, the house became an important presence in French high jewellery. In 1893, Boucheron became the first major contemporary jeweller to establish a boutique on Place Vendôme, Paris, an address synonymous with French haute joaillerie.

Throughout its history, Boucheron has been celebrated for its artistic approach to jewellery, combining traditional goldsmithing techniques with bold design, intricate detailing and imaginative gemstone arrangements. Its creations span elegant diamond jewels, richly coloured gemstone pieces and distinctive sculptural designs.

Antique and vintage Boucheron jewellery is highly regarded by collectors for its craftsmanship, design heritage and association with one of the great names in French jewellery. Signed examples offer a tangible connection to the house’s history and the enduring tradition of Parisian haute joaillerie.
