One of the most amazing pieces we have ever had, this 1910s diamond negligée pendant comes in its original box by Henry Capt. It features the original screwdriver to allow you to unscrew the two mains diamonds (1ct each) and attach them to the ring, earrings or brooch fittings which are hidden in the base of the box.
The brooch is a diamond set bar, the earrings are old coach style, and the ring is a toi-et-moi with diamond shoulders.
Henry Capt was originally from Geneva, and moved to 15 Rue Auber in Paris, where this piece was made. Interestingly, he was next door neighbour of actress Sarah Bernhardt, who lived at number 16.
